One of the best low start up home business ideas that I ever invested into was network marketing.  Ya I know what they all say about these make money opportunities, that they are a bunch of scam artists, pyramid schemes, and what not, but if you truly understand the structure and prime opportunity for leverage than your mind will instantly change.

First of all with this low start up home business ideas of network marketing you have to go over the pros and cons.  I want to go through all bull that I hear about the industry, and not to stand up for MLM but to slap some knowledge in some peoples heads.

First they say that this low start up home business idea is a scam?

Well first of all MLM and the structure to make money is not a scam, otherwise there would be lawsuits left and right for MLM but the industry is a billion dollar industry that makes people just like you and I a very healthy living from home.

I think where this idea came from is the way people try build their low start up home business idea.  They preach about how much millions you can make from home in just a few months, or years.  Than when the new business rep starts out in network marketing they end up seeing that skills are required.  The experience ends up being a bad one by, losing friends, losing money, and losing time.  The conclusion would be that this is a scam because you were promised millions but ended up spending more money than you ever made.

On the other side of the coin with these low start up home businesses you will see people who actually made millions and have a six, seven, and even eight figure income from network marketing.  There are two ways they were able to accomplish this, and the first way is hard persistant work..

The person who is out there every single day finding two people who would be interested in making some money from home.  They are out their cold calling each day, sending out flyers, postcards, doing presentations all for their pursuit of happiness.

Than there are people who use leverage like the internet to make auto-mated systems that get leads, market to leads, and recruit even on auto-pilot for their low start up home business idea.   These are smart marketers who can get massive amounts of traffic to their site and have people chase them down with money in hand ready to join.

What about all the people who say this is a pyramid scheme, and only the people at the top make all the money with a low start up home business idea of network marketing?

Well this is true and false.  If I was to sponsor you into my MLM, than yes I would be leveraging off you and anyone who I bring into my business as well.  That is the power of leverage which makes network marketing an attractive business model.

But if you were to bring in more people than I could, you can essentially make more money than I by having a larger organization under you, because most MLMs you have to build two legs.  The left side and the right side, so you get paid on your efforts.

But in the normal world where you send in your resume and start a job, you will never make money than the person above you.  The CEO makes the most, than the regional managers, the managers, than the sales reps, than the custodians and so on and so forth.  To me that is a real pyramid scheme if you ask me.

What it all comes down to is if network marketing or a low start up home business idea is right for you.  It simply is or its not, for me it is because I learned a lot about marketing and promotion and got good at teaching other people how to do the same.
