Don’t Give Up

Patrick Mitsuing USANA
“Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson

I been in this industry for over 5 years in network marketing and most of it you can say was a disaster.  I had to stay working a job as a sales consultant selling cell phones to keep up with bills.  I always had this vision of making it in this industry and being able to buy my family cool things, take some awesome vacations and being a star in this industry.

I went learned bout a year into the industry that I had to invest in myself to be successful because people join people and not businesses.  So I did a lot of reading and training.  I set up my own website and made some money but not enough to quit my job.  Over time I couldn’t afford to keep it going.  So again I still promoted Magnetic Sponsoring and made some money doing affiliate marketing.

But still not enough to really make anything happen.  I set up my second website and made more money then I did before, but didn’t understand the concept of scaling up.  I always seemed to need the money I made online to catch up with bills.  Soon I felt like things were moving to slow and ended up losing that website.  And these websites I was buying were basically systems where I didn’t own and had no control over.

The third time I got at it I decided to take it more seriously and this is already 4 years into it doing it online.  I had read many books by this time, took more training and finally things seemed to make a little more sense.  Now I have over 10,000+ people visiting my site and generated up to 100+ leads in a single day.  It was cool and have recruited 15 people almost instantly.

“It’s not that I’m so smart, it’s just that I stay with problems longer.”
Albert Einstein
So now that I started getting success I wonder why it took so long.  But the truth is what guru’s don’t tell you is that even they went through years of struggle before they finally made it as well.  I was reading the story of Denzel Washington and he went through major struggle finding his success as well.
So I think it’s very natural for people to find struggle and obstacles before they find success.  But also I know there are some really cool short cuts to make it happen faster.  One thing that helped me out was buying products where I can model successful people and do what they are doing.  I usually get some great breakthroughs learning from successful people.
I knew article marketing was a great way for long term residual income and if I didn’t learn of people who been through this before I would be still trying to figure article marketing out.
But moral is to not give up and figure things out because failure is just a learning curve.  Just keep working smart and make things happen.  Its important to keep the motion going to keep the momentum going.  So never ever give up on your dream because who wants to live life on replay going to your job when you can live the life of your dreams if you keep going.
