What does it mean to be prospecting in mlm?
Prospecting in network marketing is a lot like a professional sports franchise, just like the game of basketball.
You are the coach, the leader who calls the plays, leads the team, and inspires the team towards victory. Your new to the NBA franchise and your going to be going against people like Kobe Bryant and Lebron James.
So when recruiting for your team you want to qualify the prospects for your team. So would your friends or family be good to recruit for your team against these NBA allstars?
Not likely, but maybe someone of them have skills and knowledge with dribbling, shooting, pick and rolls, etc. You only want to recruit prospects with the skills to have any success with your team.
So how do you ensure success with you and your team in the NBA. Well you go and recruit the winners. You scout out college athletes and other people with the right skills and have them see your training systems, your expertise, and have them want to play ball with you.
You just don’t go recruit any random person because not everyone is right to play on your team. Besides if your recruited people with no skills in ball and play the game of NBA at a professional level than my friend you are only going to waste your time, your new recruits time, and probably going to get embarrassed in the process.
So when prospecting in network marketing, you only want to work with winners! They don’t need to necessarily have already gone and built a huge downline, but could be someone with that passion, who has invested in themselves with the knowledge that prepares them for success. So interview that person, qualify that person as if you where recruiting them unto your professional team of marketers.
