If we only visit three times a year, that’s just three moments to connect, and that’s not enough! If we only have let’s say 5 more years to live, that means we only have 15 moments left with each other.
When my wife’s mom got sick, we ditched our routine in Alberta and moved so we could support them. It hit me hard—people can slip away when you least expect it. Caring and cherishing these fleeting moments, especially when it seems like we losing a lot of loved ones, is key to rolling with the changes life throws our way!

I also enjoy playing Kaiser with my parents, which usually ends in hilarious arguments over the rules.
