This picture above is the key to telling stories that get people to get over the biggest hurdles which is themselves.
It’s called the Epiphany bridge.
The epiphany bridge is a framework that if you follow, allows you to come up with a story of set of stories that get people to do whatever it is you need.
What is Your Story and Who Are You?
This story you tell is about you. The character that you are introducing to the crowd or viewer. People want to know your backstory. How did you started and what lead you on a journey to find the current vehicle that you are using now.
What Do You Want to Accomplish?
What is it that you are trying to accomplish with your life. What was the main goal that you are searching for. With this goal, what is the external struggles you are dealing with. The things like money, location, knowledge, resources, family, parents, time, etc.
When you state the external struggles, you can relate to your audience because they will likely be going through the same things.
The next thing to tackle is the internal struggles. What were you going through internally? Your mental, your thoughts, your beliefs, your plan, your old beliefs, your old lack, your past experience, your idea of disappointment, etc.
You want to tell the story of this to relate to your audience and also to knock down their limiting external and internal factors that are stopping them from believing this will work for them.
The Wall
Next is to knock down the wall. The wall is the problem you hit with your current opportunity on this new journey you are on. Basically talk about the way you been always doing things and why isn’t that working for you.
For the avengers it was trying to get the infinity stones before Thanos. Thanos ends up beating them and making 50% of the world disappear. That was the huge wall they faced.
With Gladiator, the character got incarcerated and became a slave gladiator. He know has to kill to survive and face crazy enemies and foes.
With Cars, lightning Mcqueen had to work his way fixing the town before he can leave to go win the piston cup.
The Epiphany
You just got introduced to your new opportunity, what was the ah ha moment you had when you found this opportunity. Really dive into this process and why its changing everything about what you think about yourself and the world.
The Plan
Now that you have a new opportunity, what was the plan you came up with to implement and use the new opportunity.
In the cartoon Aladdin, he has the Genie but now it’s how is he going to use the 3 wishes to win the heart of the princess.
For Gladiator, his plan is to keep winning and win the hearts of the crowd to become a free man.
What is the plan you have now that you got your new opportunity.
Maybe you joined a network marketing opportunity and you were failing but discovered YouTube Ads. Your plan is to use YouTube ads to get a steady flow of new people to talk to about MLM. You are going to sell a course teaching how to use YT ads that will create customers for you.
Now that you got customers, you can talk to them about joining your MLM where you become their personal mentor when they join your business and together you use YT ads to build the biggest organization in the history of that MLM using YT Ads.
The Conflict
Now that you have your new vehicle, you are on your way creating some success. What is the conflicts that start coming up? Let your audience know what they might encounter.
For example I teach how to invest in Crypto. You are going to experience up and down swings. The down swings are the hardest because you feel like your losing and it may go down lower. Sometimes you feel like you should sell so you don’t lose anymore than you just did.
But holding strong with the long term mindset, you realize it was just a temporary downswing and it ends up going through the roof in profits. Had you sold and let your emotions get to you, you could of lost it all.
The Achievement
Now that you passed everything, all the challenges, all the hardships, what did you achieve?
Did you make it to the top of the mountain.
Did you get the girl.
Did you win the prize.
The Transformation
You most definitely became a new person through this whole process. There is two transformations, the one is your external but the huge one is the internal.
Follow these questions to map out your presenation
